NADME Membership
National Academy of DOT Medical Examiners (NADME) is the national organization for medical professionals
who perform the physical examinations required by the federal Department of Transportation (DOT) for
the 6 million plus commercial truck and motorcoach drivers. The physical is required in order for a
driver to receive his or her commercial driver's license (CDL) and is also required at least every two years.

WHO CAN JOIN
- Physician Category

Open to individual doctors of medicine, osteopathy and chiropractic who are licensed, certified or
registered in accordance with their applicable State laws and regulations. First Year dues are
included in the training and certification fee. Thereafter, annual dues are $175.
- Physician's Assistant & Nurse Category
-
Open to individual physician's assistants, advanced practice nurses and such other nurses who are
licensed, certified or registered in accordance with their applicable State laws and regulations.
First Year dues are included in the training and certification fee. Thereafter, annual dues are $75.
- Motor Carrier Associate

Open to trucking and motorcoach companies that have an interest in supporting the mission of NADME.
Calculated on the basis of number of vehicles operated: $50 (1-100 vehicles); $100 (101-500 vehicles);
$200 (501 - 1000 vehicles) $350 (more than 1000 vehicles)
- Corporate

Open to corporations, associations, and other organizations and entities that have an interest in
supporting NADME's safety and health mission but do not qualify for another membership class.
Annual dues are $500.
